The UGC NET (University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test) for Sanskrit is conducted under the subject code 25. This exam is aimed at determining the eligibility for the position of Assistant Professor and for awarding Junior Research Fellowships (JRF) in Indian universities and colleges.

UGC NET Sanskrit Exam Structure (Code 25)

  • Paper I: General paper on teaching and research aptitude (common for all subjects). This paper consists of questions on reasoning ability, comprehension, divergent thinking, and general awareness.
